Join Norman at This Afternoon’s Health Care Rally

On Tuesday, August 25, 2009, our nation lost one of its great fighters. More than a year after learning he had a cancerous brain tumor, Ted Kennedy, the longtime senior senator from the State of Massachusetts passed away. It is impossible to say enough about this remarkable man or the impact he left. But, one thing is for sure, and that is the need to take up the one battle that he called the “cause of my life,” the fight to make health care available to all Americans.

Now, we ask you to join Norman and thousands of fellow New Yorkers this afternoon (Saturday afternoon) as we march in support of health care reform. Norman will be marching tomorrow with Democracy for New York City and the Postal Union. We will be meeting at 350 West 31st Street. If you’re interested in meeting us there, feel free to call me at 914 – 912 – 9900. The rally itself starts in Union Square at 2pm.
