Norman All Alone at ARGUS Candidate Forum

The big guy, Bill de Blasio, wasn’t there. The self-described grassroots candidate, Eric Gioia, wasn’t there either. And once again, Mark Green was a no-show. Only Norman Siegel showed up in the South Bronx this afternoon for the ARGUS Candidate Forum, a forum dedicated to HIV/AIDS issues.

The forum not only concerned the actual physical nature of HIV/AIDS, but also concerned how HIV/AIDS affects other issues like housing. I was not at the event, but hopefully what Norman was able to convey to those assembled is the ability of the Public Advocate to make positive change in the lives of all New Yorkers, especially those with HIV/AIDS.

Norman cares a lot about this issue, and I know that if he is elected Public Advocate, it would be a wonderful boost to those in the HIV/AIDS community.
